Carson Lambos

Forceful defender with solid size, terrific hockey IQ, and the physical ability to bully junior defenders out of the play and transport the puck up ice.. He has excellent skating stride, footwork, speed, balance, and poise that leads to the assumption he is a prototypical NHL defenseman. He is smooth and strong in his zone, has an active stick and plenty of edge. Positions himself well in his end and displays outstanding footwork all around. His gap control improved steadily as the 2019-2020 season went on. He was the winner in most two on ones, and one on ones he faced. He never gets beat on the boards. He displays good puck possession in his carries in all three zones. He bounces off all attempted checks while he has the puck, and out-maneuvers pressure. An excellent passer who quickly and efficiently gets the puck to his teammates. Displays good speed in his snap shots from the blue line, creating rebounds. Has a wicked snapshot, with high velocity.  He will jump up and in, pinch quickly, and quickly back out. Unafraid to lead the attack into the attack zome with the puck on is stick. He makes playing his position look easy. Was oa rookie two seasons back that lead like a veteran. Relentless physicality, power and escapability and hockey smarts are his strengths. Never loses aboard battleWith the Covid shutdown of the "Dub", he is currently on loan in the Finnish league to JYP U-20.
