Remember this from 2015-16:Big skilled winger who a rookie in the USHL. He is one of the younger players in the draft class, and is big strong and physical. Displays a high hockey IQ, reacting without hesitation inside of his two-way game. Has a good first step is decent speed to accentuate his two way game. Has size, a good wall game and an active stick, and plays on the penalty-kill and will see time on the power play. Gets terrific torque on his snap shot and can knock goalies backwards, as he hides the release points on all his shots well. Finds open seams at opportune times. He dominates below the circles as he is strong as an ox. Handles the puck well and is good at recieving hard quick passes. The type of player who can easily slide up and down the forward lines and contribute. He's smart with the puck on his stick, and uses his size to drive to the blue paint and along the boards, and owns the wall on the cycle, as he plays hard on his stick and impossible to move off the puck in the cycle. Carries junior players on his back on his way to the net. Committed to the University of Notre Dame, he has the makings of a power forward when he adds more muscle and jump, and channels it by using his size. Needs time.
