Despite being pushed down the Memorial Cup bound Red Deer’s roster due to their veteran pick ups, this sleeper showed early on he had the ability to distribute pucks and continue improving defensively. Separates opponents from the puck and looks to grow into a imposing punisher. Has very good range and can make up lost ground. Good directing his teammates out of the defensive zone in transition. He displays a heavy point shot and has size and girth already. A longer term prospect who may pay off.
