Developing player who surprised by embracing his role as the top centre on his team after the top veteran players were sent packing at the trade deadline. A big framed under six footer suddenly became the first line centre, and a key part of the PK & PP. He already was a good two-way forward, but showed he was a really good skater who had good vision, quick hands, and nice touch around the net. Not afraid of physicality. May not be the quickest, or most agile attacker but projects as future third line centre.
