When the Vancouver Giants lost Samuel Honzek for the season’s first 25 games of Vancouver’s season with an abdominal injury he suffered while playing a pre-season contest with the Flames on Oct. 4, the team managed to thread water due in large part to the play of rookie left wing Adam Titlbach, who saw usage at both winger and centre. The undersized Czech forward has shown some intriguing two-way skill and stick checking ability to go with his silky smooth puck control. I am not ready to endorse him as sure fire pick, until he is an effective player away from the puck considering his size limitations. He has adjusted quickly to the North American game, and during international play.
