Giant Czech winger that has made the trip over the pond prior to his draft year. He needed the first part of the season to adjust to the size of the North American rinks and then was injured, so his current placement is based more on Central Scouting high praised evaluation, not by my eyeballs. He will have to be much more impressive to hold my first round ranking. What is encouraging is that he works hard in defensive zone game, using his long reach and and solid positioning to break up passes and shut down plays. On the offensive side of his game, he moves the puck to the slot well, and can use his good shot to score from distance. He doesn't attack the middle of the ice with his possessions. And for a big man, he doesn't play to his size. He isn't as physical on puck battles or retrievals that you would like for a man his size. Doesn't attack the middle. He isn't physical in puck battles. He struggles to creat scoring g chances for himself. With Edmonton his production has come to almost a halt and there is no assurance this is the same import we all hope would be worthy of first round status. He has a half of season to revive confidence that he is a future talent.
