Keelan Cole is a wide receiver who plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League. Cole was an undrafted free agent, but has stuck around in the league longer than plenty of players who have been drafted.
After being born in Louisville, Kentucky, Keelan Cole played high school football at Central High School in Louisville. He did not attract attention from big schools, and opted to play college football at Kentucky Wesleyan.
At Kentucky Wesleyan College, Keelan Cole scored 57 total touchdowns, 53 of which came as receiving touchdowns. This was not enough to get him drafted, but did help him get noticed in NFL circles.
The Jacksonville Jaguars picked up Keelan Cole as an undrafted free agent in 2017. Since then, Cole has played four seasons with the Jaguars. He has amassed over 2,200 receiving yards during that time and five receiving touchdowns.
Keelan Cole signed a one year, $3.2 million deal with the Jaguars in 2020. After the 2020 season, Cole is a free agent.
Keelan Cole is the son of Michael Morgan and Kimberly Hobbs. He has two brothers and two sisters. He has a son, Keelan Cole, Jr.
