Hunter Henry is a professional football player who plays tight end for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League. Henry has been a legitimate receiving threat when he has stayed on the field in his career. And while injuries have impacted his career, Henry is still an upper echelon NFL tight end.
Hunter Henry played high school football at Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas. Henry played wide receiver, offensive line and defensive line at the school. There, he earned All-American honors in his senior year and elected to play college football in his home state at Arkansas.
At Arkansas, Henry played for three years and was named an all-SEC selection for all three seasons. He was the John Mackey award winner in 2015, pulling in 51 passes for 739 yards and three touchdowns in that season. After his junior year, Henry elected to go to the NFL.
Hunter Henry was drafted with the 35th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, going in the second round to the San Diego Chargers.
