Dallas Goedert is a tight end who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. Goedert has been a solid option as defenses have had to cover other options in the Eagles offense at his position. Goedert’s ability to work in the windows he has been given has made him an ideal piece for a contending team.
Dallas Goedert played high school football at Britton-Hecla High School in Britton, South Dakota. His play as a high school athlete earned him a spot at South Dakota State at the FCS level of college football, where he remained in his home state. He did not have a scholarship and had to walk onto the team.
At South Dakota State University, Goedert played at a high level in spite of his walk-on status. He scored 21 touchdowns in his collegiate career, and amassed over 2,000 receiving yards. He received an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl at the end of the year, an event normally reserved for FBS players, but was unable to participate due to injury.
Dallas Goedert was selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. Playing alongside Zach Ertz, Goedert has been a nice second option at his position throughout his career. He has had at least three touchdown catches in each season of his career, carving out a legitimate role for himself.
Dallas Goedert signed a four-year, $5.6 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018. That contract included a signing bonus of $2.1 million. While Goedert’s net worth is not known at this time, he will have earned $5.6 million in salary from his first professional contract.
Goedert is the son of Mary Carlson. He has two sisters. To this point he has not been in a relationship that the public has known about and has no children.
