High School Career (John and Randolph Foster High School)

Lamb attended John and Randolph Foster High School in Richmond, Texas. He became a standout wide receiver his junior year when he had 57 receptions for 1,082 yards and 11 touchdowns. His senior season, he put himself on the national map when he finished with 98 receptions for 2,032 yards and 33 touchdowns. In his sophomore season, Lamb ended up playing for what would be his second-straight Heisman winning quarterback, Kyler Murray. Lamb again played in all 14 games and this time finished with 65 receptions for 1,158 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Lamb’s junior season was his best statistical season. This time, he played with quarterback Jalen Hurts. Lamb finished the year as a first-team All-American. He finished with 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns. Lamb was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which is given to the best wide receiver in the nation. He elected to skip his senior season and enter the 2020 NFL Draft.

NFL Career

Lamb was drafted with the 17th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. Lamb made his NFL debut on Sunday Night Football in Week 1, finishing with five receptions for 59 yards. He followed it up with his first career 100-yard receiving game in Week 2 when he posted 106 yards on six receptions.
