Allen Robinson II is a wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the NFL. After a career at Penn State, he was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Robinson is one of the best receivers Jacksonville has ever seen. He holds the Jaguars franchise record in receiving touchdowns in a season (14), most games with at least 150 yards (3) and most receiving touchdowns in a single game (3), tied with Marcedes Lewis and Jimmy Smith. Robinson continued his ascension in 2015 and 2016, where he led the team in receiving yards. Unfortunately, in Week 1 of 2017, Robinson tore his ACL. He ended up signing a three-year, $42 million contract with the Chicago Bears in free agency after the season.
Despite shaky quarterback play, Robinson has managed to stay productive in Chicago. He finished the 2018 season with 55 catches for 754 yards and four touchdowns. In his postseason debut, a 16–15 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card Round, Robinson went off for 143 receiving yards.
In 2019, Robinson had one of his best seasons. He finished with a career high in receptions with 98 for 1,147 receiving yards and 7 receiving touchdowns. The fact that he continues to do this with Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles as his quarterbacks is nothing short of incredible.
