Analysis
Warren has seemed to have had a tough time adjusting to playing without the Griffin brothers. He was to be the star of this year’s team and at times has looked to be more of a burden. He is a gifted offensive player, finding numerous ways to score and having the ability to score in bunches. One concern is that his perimeter shot is released very low and he may have a tough time getting it off at the NBA level. On defense, Warren needs to become a much more active defender. He has the athletic ability to be a good defender, but he just needs to work harder at it. He also has room to become a bit bigger and stronger, which he will need to do at the professional level. The biggest concern Warren faces is his effort. He seems to stop playing hard when things aren’t going well or if his teammates aren’t playing well. Whether he is a team leader or not, he needs to show the maturity to handle it if it is given to him.
