A huge start in front of a large audience at the National Classic in late March certainly didn't hurt, but Eichhorn will have to work past the "undersized righty" stigma. He does have two decent offerings, plus command and poise to help him with that, as well as good bloodlines -- his father Mark spent 11 seasons in the bigs. A few years at Santa Clara might not hurt, but that will depend on when he's drafted.
