Schlereth was drafted in the eighth round last year by the A's, but chose to return to Arizona. He's got three decent offerings, though he struggles at times with commanding them. He misses a lot of bats, but he also will pile up walks at times. He's got a football mentality on the mound, courtesy of his father, former NFLer Mark, and could be the kind of left-handed setup man who gets to the bigs quickly.
