With a tall, projectable frame, scouts have always been intrigued with Jacobson. He has the ability to throw three decent pitches -- fastball, curve, changeup -- for strikes and from a downhill plane. He doesn't have the prettiest delivery in the world and some issues with fastball command hurt him early on this season, something he'll have to straighten out to get serious consideration early in June.
